We are delighted to share that the new academic year at Annabel’s has begun with plenty of smiles and excitement. The children are settling in beautifully, becoming familiar with their classrooms, daily routines, and new friends. It has been a real joy to see their confidence blossom each day as they explore, play, and feel at home in our nurturing environment. We are very much looking forward to a wonderful year ahead, full of learning, laughter, and happy memories together!
Meet Kamila

“My name is Kamila, and I have the joy of being both the Snowdrops (K1) teacher and the Atelierista here at Annabel’s. At our school, we follow the British curriculum while drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach. This philosophy, which began in Italy, views children as naturally curious learners with many ideas to share. It encourages them to follow their own interests, ask questions, and discover answers in meaningful ways. My aim is to nurture children who grow into confident, independent, and creative thinkers who truly enjoy learning.
The atelier is a very special place in our school and a creative space where children explore ideas through art, design, and hands-on materials. As the Atelierista, my role is to guide and support this process of discovery. Each year, we dedicate ourselves to one large project that allows the children to dig deep into their thinking and curiosity. This year, we are exploring the children’s views on playgrounds and experimenting with different materials and reflecting on the spaces where they love to play.”
With warm regards,
Kamila
Reggio Emilia Workshop
We are very excited to invite you to an upcoming workshop that I will be leading. In this session, I will share more about the Reggio Emilia approach and how we weave its inspirations into our daily life at Annabel’s. Together, we will also explore how this approach differs from Montessori and other well-known educational philosophies, giving you a clearer picture of what makes our practice unique.
Beyond creativity and expression, the atelier helps children develop skills that are essential for organisations such as the World Economic Forum, UNESCO, and OECD highlight as crucial in today’s rapidly changing world. These include creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving qualities that will serve them well both now and in the years ahead.
We warmly welcome you to join us for this workshop. It will be a wonderful opportunity to see how the atelier enriches your child’s journey, and to share in the joy of learning that is at the heart of our Annabel’s community.

Cheese and Wine Evening
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us for our recent Cheese and Wine Evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and friendly setting. The evening was filled with laughter, lively conversations, and a genuine sense of community. We are truly grateful for the time you spent with us and for helping to make the event such a joyful success.

International Day!
We are very excited to be celebrating International Day on Friday 10th October! Please note that the event will take place in the garden at Annabel’s Early Years House 19. This special day is one of the highlights of our school year, when families come together to celebrate the many cultures that make up our wonderful community.
With 24 different nationalities represented at Annabel’s, it promises to be a joyful occasion filled with games, delicious food, and fun activities. We warmly invite your family to join the celebration by sharing your traditions, food, music, or even wearing your country’s traditional outfit.

Aksh’s New Baby Brother!
We are delighted to share some wonderful news—Aksh has become a big brother! Congratulations to his family on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy. Moments like these remind us how special our Annabel’s community truly is, as we celebrate not only milestones in the classroom but also precious moments at home.
We are so overjoyed to welcome Rehan as the newest member of our Annabel’s family, and we send all our love and best wishes to the family during this joyful time.

After receiving some requests from parents for mid-week playgroups, we are delighted to bring this idea to life! At Annabel’s, we are now offering additional playgroup sessions that take place during the week. These sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. We are excited to see this new opportunity grow and would greatly appreciate your support in spreading the word!
